About
Hi, I’m Amrut!
The following link will take you to the list of services that I host from my homelab (which are sometimes offline because of power outages)!
My primary focus in my previous organization was on the infrastructure side (basically, Kubernetes).
Some of the technologies that I have worked with and have a good understanding of, include:
- Kubernetes and it’s distros like OpenShift
- Jenkins
- Ansible
- Groovy (for writing custom Jenkins code)
- Terraform
- Cloudformation
- AWS CDK
- Hashicorp Packer
- Apache Kafka
- Apache Zookeeper
- MongoDB
- PostgreSQL
- Hashicorp Vault
- AWS and GCP
- Linux
- Programming and scripting languages such as C, Python and Shell
- Computer Networking
My current homelab is set up on a Dual EPYC 7601 (2 CPUs on a single Motherboard) system with 256 GBs of RAM and 128 vCPUs. That’s a lot of CPU cores and memory… I’m probably overcompensating for something. Nah… I need it for my Kubernetes nodes (or atleast, that’s what I tell myself). I’ve written about building the server here.
This blog is supposed to host my ramblings about tech stuff - especially Kubernetes (and OpenShift!) and applications deployed on it.
